Duel Monitors

I have a G4 with dule monitors, a 19" and 15" the smaller which I normally use for menues. When I install Z-Brush it apears on the smaller screen even though that is specified as “monitor 2” Is there a way to change this other than restarting with 1 monitor plugged in? Is this a known "bug "? This can be a real problem with woking professionals as many have duel seups.

Hi Lornce,

To move ZBrush over to your other monitor:

  1. Click on the resize icon in the upper-righthand corner of your ZBrush window.

  2. Drag the window over to your other monitor.

  3. Click on the resize icon to re-maximize your ZBrush window.

A future version of ZBrush may store this as a preference.

i have a question: why would you need too monitors?

OMG, dr. jjwow, you ask WHY ?! Hehe
I guess you are lucky in a sense, cause when you’ll try , you will definetly get the urge to buy a second monitor and graphic card for sure

Imagine using any tool like Photoshop or 3dsmax and use the entire screen to work on your image and not have a single menu or toolbar cluttering your work, since all your toolbar are on the second screen. You can browse the net and follow tutorials will your app is on the other monitor. If you do editing you can stretch your timeline over to screen to have a lot more precision, and … well I guess you get the Idea  Hehe

It’s just too bad that ZBrush can’t use 2 screens for now :(, (it actually kinda freaks :)) it will be awesome when it can.

thanks for the info… i guess you have to have another videw card for this… oh well im out of luck…FOR NOW hahahah…
