I wanted the icons to stand out from the background, which is New England Pink Granite…
Glad you liked the gallery though, and if you wear blue glasses the colour won’t bother you… 
awesome logo, the gallery is cool, but the granite does not work.
The granite mixed colors have too much of a medium color value and makes everything want to blend together. So when I’m looking at a gallery pick the granite is attacking the edges .
The home page kicks arse with the black background.

Great start to a personal gallery. I especially like how fast the images load. Yes, simpler is almost always better.
Favorite image: “Bleeding Still”, for concept and execution - (the beginning of a very original series I hope!).

Thanx to all who took the time to check out Dragon Tears… I am working on images that will be up there soon, and it will expand fairly quickly. Due to the layout of the site, it is quite easy to add more images, and in a time when most 8 year-olds have web pages, it’s nice to finally have my own.
