Dracula's Daughter - (slight nudity)

I modeled this last night, using z-spheres and and redid the topology in Silo. She should have hair, textures, and a much rattier looking nightgown by friday. Thanks for looking, any critiques are appreciated.

Here is what I using as reference for this sculpt.

I plan on posing her with a coffin and a freshly dug grave. If I feel really ambitious I might model a child and try to recreate the from Bram Stokers’s Dracula…

Hah! I finished this one too. I just need to figure out Maya hair…

Here’s a couple more full body shots and a few close ups.

I think the cropped red hair is an intersting look.

So how did you go about making it?

Hi, Bill

I started out in Silo with a rough box model, then took it into Zbrush to sculpting using Zack Petroc’s techniques. I then re-drew the topology with Silo’s topology brush. I next took it into Maya and conformed the new animation ready mesh to the zbrush sculpt.

The color, bump and other maps are all made in Zbrush, using AUV’s. Finally, I took it back into Maya, posed, lit, and rendered using mental ray.

I intend to get some subsurface scattering on her, but the purple skin tone makes tweaking the right colors, difficult.

Thanks for the comment about the hair, I kinda like it as is too. Kind of a 1920’s style hair due.

Fierce! Nice work.

If she’s all rigged, maybe try altering the pose a bit. In the tombstone pics she looks a touch off balance, and the lower body is somewhat passive. Maybe more aggression to match the arms and face … crouching, or appearing to move towards the viewer with more urgency. Upright with a catwalk leg pose reduces the effect, imho. Cool stuff all the same. :+1:

she can make me her vampire slave any time!!

Hi, Moochie

Thanks for the reply. I agree about the pose being to passive, it just isnt creepy enough. Crouching might be a good idea, I’ll give it a go.

I’m thinking about keeping the hair short and using Maya fur on it, as well.

Thanks!

She looks good but reminds me more of the girls from Lair of the White Worm…
