Thanks for sharing these mats, verry generous of you Arran. If I ever come up with new materials based on yours I surely will post em here for others to use.But for now I need to… <coughs quietly> …concentrate on learning to model…

:grimacing: thank you very much:+1: :+1: :+1:

Great! Why don’t you add the materials to the repository here ?

thanks a ton! great mats

Great Materials … thanks for sharing.

These are wonderfull.

I was hoping you could go into some detail on how you make them? I know alot of it comes down to ‘futzing’ with sliders. But, for isnstance, on al9 you get these wonderfull little specular highlights and “outlines” for overlaping objcts that give it a wondefull illustrative feel. What part of the shader causes that wonderfull little shadow effect?

amazing work - THX a lot for the Z-mats - COOOL

great stuff man…
thanks for sharing…

Can you please make these for version 3.0?

So I used a combination of the sketch mat and #9 (both modified to a degree) to get this:

Thanks agian mate, these are fantastic!

Excellent materials, my friend.
Thanks for your generosity… I plan on giving them a work-out either tonight or - if they kill me at Karate - tomorrow.
It’s because of people like you that this forum has become the classy place it is.
Thanks again,

~Angst…

Keep up the illustration work, and thanks for the materials.

Thanks a lot. One can never have enough materials.

There are even some very nice materials to use while modeling not only for final results.

I’ve combined 3 of your materials on layers with photoshop and got this. I like the crisp and clean look you can get with em.
