Does anyone know if zbrushcore can do stencils? I know it doesn’t have spotlight, but I could probably get by with stencils if it has them…

It doesn’t have stencils but it does have masking. You can import a grayscale image and use it to mask out part of your model.
Is that just using it as an alpha? Or is it a separate feature? If so, where can I find it? I need something like stencil in that I can maintain it’s position (not a brush).

You’d have to make your own stencils and use them as alphas with the masking brush.

Yes, you can’t fix the position in the same way as using Spotlight or Stencils.
