Sorry for this question from a neophite, after seeing all the wonderful work that is being posted in this forum. I just installed version 1.5 and wonder where I can choose another resolution than the 640x480 that I always get. And I can’t seem to find “symmetry” that existed in version 1.23
Thanks a lot
Randy
Hi randy, go to document, click off pro use the slider to change to the size you want 640 to 800 or whatever size then click resize, that should work make sure pro is off.
Welcome to the forum Randy The Symmetry options were moved from the Draw palette to the Transform palette, under modifiers. They were also given shortcuts, i.e X,Y,Z on the keyboard.
Forgot:
There is also a Zscript that comes with ZB 1.5, which allows you to resize canvas/document size in the middle of a project.
Thanks a lot guys for your replies. You’ve been a great help. Wish all the best fo 2003 and will be reading your posts and learning
(I am more a Photoshop specialist than a 3d one but I intend to see if I can come up with something interesting with ZBrush…As for the interface it is much more intimidating than Photoshop’s!)
Hi Randy,
You can also set ZBrush to start with a set document size just by creating a new default Zscript. Note that this will not work if you create a new doc within ZB…it only works when you first load the program. The following script will do it for you.
[ISet,Document:Pro,0]
[ISet,Document:Height,1500]
[ISet,Document:Width,1500]
[ISet,Document:Resize,1]
Just set the Height and Width to whatever size you wish. My work computer uses the 1500 x 1500 size while on my home computer I have it set to 2500 x 2500. That way I don’t forget to change doc size before getting into the middle of a project. This is just a very simplistic methad and it works for me.
