ZBrushCentral

Do you ...

… find yourself checking your email more often than normal today? I know I am!

“Z2. Z2. Wherefore art thou Z2?”

I have an aol account, according to the plan, every call is $.35.
I figure, roughly speaking, zbrush owes me about 25.00.
Remember that inventor in Simone who got radiation poisoning in the eyeball?

At least some information…is very difficult?..3.50pm

…adjustet outlook express to look for incoming mails from every 15 minutes to every 6 minutes. Not that I am waiting for anything, but I felt like torturing this part of a Crimosoft software.

A little advice from someone who has been around for a while, and who has seen this insanity before?

Relax…

Have you COMPLETELY mastered 1.55b?
Every time there has been an update, since 1.23, (without the ‘b’…), I get to see this insane behaviour…Spend your time working, not obsessing on a new version.
And if you MUST obsess, please remember that this section is for art, there is a Community Forum for this form of ‘tail-chasing’…
No offense, but this gets a little old for some of us.

Hi Stonecutter,

I hope this doesn’t sound too harsh (it is only words and there is no face to go with it and no voice inflection to help out). I think that you also need to relax a bit. I am not at all anxious for Z2. I was just having some fun and, as I can see form the other posts, so were others. I am far to busy with projects to probably even touch Z2 for another week or two anyway.

So, this was all for fun. If the joke is old, then don’t participate in it. For others, maybe it is fun. .

I will take the SC statement¡¡¡¡ I will relax if not look at this¡¡¡¡?
he he he…

Stonecutter, couldn’t agree more.Totally.
You are 100% correct.Nobody disagrees.
Voice of sanity in the wilderness.
You have been there, you know.Common sense should prevail.

Now.

WHERE IS IT!!!
I WANT IT NOW, NOT LATER.

will be back in 5 minutes to recheck
edit: rechecked past postings. Are you the one who threatened self-mutilation over 1.55?

Hi bcc39 great¡¡¡ you make me bunch of outbursts of laughter ¡¡¡¡
Great friend¡
Andreseloy

I first bought version 0.98 or 95 I can’t remember, and have seen many updates…never mastered one of them. This one I intend to master.

Update excitement…yes, but I also see a lot of hard work ahead of me.

Dan…yep the written word has got me into trouble here…if inflection, tone etc were included things would have been a lot different.

Me I’m just happy to wait and enjoy Z2 when it arrives.

However I can understand the latter members being excited, and possessing 8 ton of anticipation.

9 tons to go hold mayo!!!

Andresloy:   :+1:

Point taken Dan…
And anyone who knows me knows just how relaxed I am in fact…

But you also seem to be unaware that this is the section for ART…
I get a little impatient coming here to see what people have done, only to see another ‘fun’ thread about another update. I realize that you are a new member, and yes, I recognise the excitement.
And if this had been in the proper forum, I wouldn’t have said Diddley in the first place.
Clearer now, Matey?

I like coming here and watching all this. Keeps me entertained. Here’s a tidbit for you all…earlier today the Pixologic website stated that 1.55b was still for sale at $399 until 2.0 was released later today. NOW it says this…

[quote]Please note that ZBrush 1.55b for Windows is no longer available for purchase. You may still purchase ZBrush 1.55b for Macintosh for $399.00, and receive a free upgrade to Z2 for Macintosh when it is released (date to be announced).

Getting closer methinks. So now all you clock watchers need to go set your email to check for mail every minute otherwise you might miss out on something. :stuck_out_tongue: Me, well I am going to go play some Unreal Tournament 2004, eat some dinner, read a book with my daughter, then I might check in and see where we are at. Muwhahahahahaha

Hi Stonecutter,

Point taken and … thanks  . I’ll post in the proper places from now on.

I sent my info for my free upgrade this morning…still checking my email before hitting the sheets!

I have work that needs doing, that’s for sure, but I plan to start with 2.0 fresh, and not half my project in 1.55 and the other in 2.0. I know if I don’t do that, I’ll regret it down the track.

I got to say it has been a real experience watching the surge of excitement. For myself I have a whole crew waitng to start training. We have a job due in 14 days and we know this upgrade will make our life a lot easier. So I definitely feel some pressure to get it as soon as possible. (But I also have several thousand people waiting to view our work.) What I am shocked by is the undertone of anger in some of the posts. These guys are no less then amazing and they have developed tools that are TOP NOTCH. Add to that, the fact the price is so cheap. I think they should be cut some slack.

No question about it. A number one software for a great average joe price…

with I might add some great average joe with average computer features like “being able to edit a small part to save on memory” features!
!won ti tnaw I
I can’t wait to play with it and seeing as how I am a new customer, I am sure I’ll be waiting quite awhile however…

I am trying with all my might to restrain myself like a six year old up at 3am on Christmas day.
