Hi,
In some tutorials, I’ve seen that people keep running Dynamesh. They start from low res Dynamesh and then increase the resolution step by step and finish in final model while they are still in Dynamesh mode.
Some others use dynamesh just for very basic and simple form of their model means when they reached to the base mesh, they turn it off and use Zremesh for turning it to a clean symmetrical topology and then subdivide it step by step as they add the details.
Which method is the most correct way?
There is no “correct” way. It’s whatever works best for your needs and preferences. Dynamesh is simply one tool in the toolbox, and completely optional. There are many ways to create a base mesh in ZB and elsewhere, and some work with a traditional multiple subd level process without touching it at all.
One thing to note about Dynamesh, is that it works best at medium to medium-high mesh resolution. You will reach a level of detail where it is no longer practical to dynamesh frequently, due to performance limitations. At that point you’ll need to switch to a traditional multiple Subdivision Level workflow in order to add finer detail.
