Hi, it is my firts post…

I have a problem…

just import tool, drag my mesh (step1lowres.jpg) and then if I try to divide it, it is breaking (step2dividebreaked.jpg)

Your group edges aren’t welded. This allows the groups to pull apart when you divide.

There are several ways around this:

  1. Weld the seams when you export from your other program.
  2. Select the Polymesh3D tool and turn on the Weld option in the Tool>Import menu. The seams will then be welded when you import the model.
  3. Import the model and then press Tool>Geometry>Crease. Rather than welding the groups, this approach simply prevents them from pulling apart when the mesh is divided.

Any one of the three will work for you.
