Display properties

hello! when I sculpt, sometimes , when clicking in display properties “double”, I get a part of the surface under going “trough” the sculpted surface; if I uncheck “double”, that dissappear, but once exported the problematic geometry is, of couse, present; I suppose the answer is to sculpt ALWAYS with double checked, but is it a way to solve the problem, if , having forgotten, the sculpted is fibnished?

Hello @marcel ,

It should be fairly simple to locate the protruding geometry and pull it out of that surface with Brush> Automasking> Backface Masking enabled. This will allow you to sculpt on the forward facing surface without affecting the rear facing surface. If the problem geometry is an interior section and difficult to reach the mesh can be partially hidden allowing you to get at it.

Viewing a mesh with “Display Properties> Double” disabled can be useful, especially when checking for issues with the polygon normals.
