Hello,
(Not sure if this is the right place for this post, feel free to move it)
I’ve searched the forum and it seems it is more common for people to have meshes exploding in zbrush itself. However, my mesh explodes when I apply a displacement map on to it in 3d max.
I’ve made a quick doodle in 3d max and unwrapped the uvs:
It seems there are a bunch of tutorials (each with subtle variations it seems) showing this.
I’ve followed these 2:
http://www.zbrushcentral.com/zbc/showthread.php?t=61434 and
http://www.pixologic.com/docs/index.php/ZBrush_to_3ds_Max
It’s also happened with another doodle I had made but this is the latest one. I am sure I’m doing something wrong here, but can’t figure out exactly what…
My first guess is the vertex order is being messed up, but not even sure how that would even happen. Any ideas?
(I am also using 3d max 8, and Zbrush 3.1)
