Displacement map with multiple texture on one mesh

Hi there!
I m cleaning 3D scans with ZBrush. Some of those scans come with the texture on multiple files. Normally i use the texture to make a displacement map and create more details, but i dont know how to do it when my texture is divided in many files.

Any idea how can i do that?
Thank you.

David

If you are using Photoshop and assuming you are just making levels/colour and similar changes (ie not morphing or distorting the image), you could save the work you do on the first texture as an Action, then apply that action to all the other textures.

You have a couple of options.

  1. Break your mesh into different meshes based on UVs
  2. Combine all your UVs so they aren't over lapping and then make a new diffuse that follows these same UV changes and use that as your singular mesh.

There are more but these are probably the two easiest. I recommend the 2nd personally.
