Displacement Map into Sculpted Detail - HELP!

Hi, if anyone knows if this is possible or has an idea, please share! Let me explain…

I have attached an image of the femur sculpt i am currently working on, this femur was made from a 3D scan and then textured using images of the actual bone, i have a lot of micro detail on the bone that i created by turning the textured UV map into an alpha and plugging it in as a displacement map.
The question i have is that, as a displacement map, that detail is not apart of the actual sculpt and my employer wants to 3D print this bone and if you dont know, you cant 3D print displacement map detail. So i am wondering if there is a way to make the displacement map effect the actual mesh and become apart of the sculpt.

Any ideas are welcome!
Just keep in mind that there is a ton of micro detail that has to line up with the textures and there is no time to go sculpt all that in by hand, so using the map i created somehow would be the best option.

Thank you in advance !
