Disabling the dynamic solo permanently?

Is there a way to permanently disable the dynamic solo button? I love Zbrush so much but this feature has always been more frustrating than not since I accidentally turn it on all the time. Not sure if I’m hitting a hot key that turns it on or I’m just accidentally hitting it when I use solo but I hate it so much. Ive been using Zbrush forever and this is the one thing I want to get rid of. If anyone knows how to get rid of it I would be very thankful.

Hi @Wulfkyn ,

The toggle for Dynamic Solo is located on the top of the Solo UI button. The most likely scenario is that you are accidentally triggering it when you interact with the button manually.

If your display settings are such that the ZBrush UI is especially tiny, this may be easier to do. You may want to increase the size of your UI buttons in Preferences> Interface > UI> Button size.

Otherwise if you can’t avoid triggering it accidentally you might consider assigning a hotkey to the Solo feature and removing the button from your UI. You can’t accidentally switch it on if you don’t activate it with the UI button.

Likewise, you could create a new Macro to activate the feature, and use the Macro button instead.

Hope that helps!

Thanks for the response. It’s definitely not my screen size. It’s huge :). I’ll give the macro a try. I assumed that was my only option just figured I’d ask if there was an alternative. I’m sure the macro will be a better way to work just a little set in my own ways when it comes to my user interface. Thanks again for the quick response.
