Disable Slide Show screen saver on ZBC?

Is there a way that I can disable the slideshow/screensaver feature on ZBC? This seems like something that was recently implemented. I personally find it annoying. You have to click the x at the bottom because if you click on anything else like a normal screensaver, it opens the thread—too many steps. I look away or get distracted, and the site starts the slideshow. Some people may enjoy it, which is fine, but there should be a way to disable it for users not wanting it to start.

Me too.

This feature is disruptive. It interrupts my flow with something completely unexpected. I leave an important discussion open in a tab, and come back to find some unrelated promotional content (spam, by definition). If I accidentally click it, then I lose my page and go to something I have no interest in.

I also can’t stand the “Are you sure you want to leave this page?” dialogue. In my browser it is modal, and block all tabs of the window. It even comes up when I click “save changes” on the preference page (are you kidding me?!).

Thanks for permanently removing this stuff.
