Dirty stains on surface of my model?

Hello,

I have been working on a zbrush model for some time.

I notice there are what looks like dirty water stains on the surface of my model

Can you please tell me how I can remove this dirty water stains like thing on the surface of my model?

Thank you

Hello @One_Above_All ,

Obviously some sort of picture of the problem would be useful here, but if there are any kind of 2d marks on the surface of your mesh this should only be coming from one of 5 sources:

  1. Masking. Clear any Masking with Tool> Masking> Clear.

  2. Polypaint. Go to Tool> Polypaint and disable “Colorize” to globally disable the display of any polypaint.

  3. An active texture. Go to Tool> Texture Map, and make sure the Texture display is off, and the Selector window is set to Texture Off.

  4. Some sort of procedural effect coming from an applied Surface Noise. Make sure that Tool> Surface> Noise is not active.

  5. Some sort of effect coming from the active material. Set the active material display to “Matcap White”. If Polypaint is disabled, it should display whatever the active material is set to. When Polypaint is enabled any material that has been painted onto the mesh will override the active material setting.

Thank you very very much Spyndel,

  1. Polypaint. Go to Tool> Polypaint and disable “Colorize” to globally disable the display of any polypaint.

This works in removing the water stain like thing on the surface of my object.

thank you very much once again.
