Dies lustricus

“In ancient Rome the dies lustricus (“day of lustration” or “purification day”) was a traditional naming ceremony in which an infant was purified and given a praenomen (given name).” (thanks wikipedia!)

I had a lot of fun on this one, I changed my mind and direction at least 3 times, sculpted some characters that I threw away, but I’m happy with the final result, I like the overall composition.
