Detail loss when switching back and forth between Normal sculpting and HD sculpting

Hi guys,

I did a search but couldn’t find anyone complaining about this issue.

I divided my model up to 1 million polygons did some sculpting and then added some HD subdivisions (up to 54million), did some sculpting, switched back to normal divisions and did some sculpting and after a while of switching back and forth I started noticing a detail loss In the HD subdivisions with each iteration, almost as if the HD details gets saved in .jpg format and every time you exit HD mode that jpg file gets overwritten and a loss of detail occurs due to the compression.

Here is a sample picture, I promise you I’ve got enough subdivisions and these edges used to be super smooth a couple of saves ago. Unfortunately I did not do any incremental saves to give you a comparison.

If there is a specific workflow that I am not aware of then please someone en lighting me.
