deleting textures out of panel

hey all, I am having an annoying little problem with deleting textures that are created. I delete (acutally its the ‘Remove’ button) a texture I made previously through the Texture drop-down menu. However the texture is still present in in the Texture palette menu that is normally on the left side of the screen. How do I get rid of an un-needed texture for good?

It really annoying having extra ones because when you are switching between brushes in projection master sometimes switches to one of the other textures. If I am not paying attention it screws up my bump mapping.

I believe the only way to do that is to re-initialize zb. If I remember right if ya wanna save one make sure its the active one and it will keep that one…but don’t quote me on that.

remember if you choose another tool it will store the one you dropped in the state you used it…so if it has a texture assigned to it…it will come up. Instead of choosing that tool choose the default one and it will be reset and won’t load those textures you no longer need to use.

nah re-initialization doesn’t work. I actually have to restart ZB to get them to go away. You are right on the saving one though, it will ask to save your active alpha and your active texture file.

Thanks for the tip.
