I’m still new to Zbrush and trying to collect tools I normally use into one custom menu and this happened.
The renaming of a custom sub-palette with items in it, still shows “(clear title to delete the menu)” yet in fact this is applicable for custom menu. To delete a custom sub-palette you’ll have to clear all items inside it and drag the sub-palette out to delete.
I got stuck trying to figure out how to delete it for almost 15mins. Just posting here wishing the message could be changed so no one has to bump into this trying to figure out stuff around it.

try to remove the Divide button, it might be that, I think you can delete only when the subpalette is fully empty.
