Hey to all
let me appoligize in advance if my question is redundant but i’ve searched hi n lo and can’t find an answer…
I simply want to set zbrush back to original default settings.
Been working on human head tutorial which worked out just fine for a few days. But as of yesterday when I Zspheres is a problem, when I press A I am getting way wierd deformations…maybe I changed a setting by accident I dunno ??? but I want to reset the interface and nothing seems to work , help !!
there’s a little button at the top-right that says “Standard”. Clicking that restores your UI to the standard configuration. If you want to re-initialize zbrush (basically restores all settings, not just UI, to factory defaults), click preferences->Init Zbrush
NOT
thnx but these things I know and have tried the zsphere is not right somehow something else is going on and I can’t figure out what
is there any tuts that adress gpu issues or driver best for zbrush??
If you go to the FAQ>General section here at ZBC you’ll see a thread about performance tips. That covers things that will help with performance.
In your case, though, here are some likely possibilities:
-
Before you start to sculpt or paint a ZSphere preview, you need to store a morph target. While the ZSpheres themselves are visible, press Tool>Morph Target>StoreMT so that ZBrush will “freeze” the preview. This creates a stable point structure for you to work with.
-
Do NOT use Tool>Adaptive Skin>Density to change subdivision levels. This setting is only used to set the number of levels your preview will have. Use Tool>Geometry to go between those levels.

Thnx, your tips were very much appreciated,
it seems that somehow IntersectionRes and my Membrane Curvature got set to their lowest values…
Yes I really did spend the last three days trying to figure this out but hey that’s how you learn huh?
