Hi,
After installing Z2, I wanted access to all my old ZLauncher ZScripts too… so here’s what I did. It may work for you if you still have the old ZBrush 1.55b directory intact.
-
FIRST!!! go to the Z2/Zscripts directory and rename DefaultZscript.txt to original.DefaultZscript.txt.
-
Go to the old,1.55b Zscripts directory and copy the following files into the Z2/Zscripts directory.
ZLauncherListRevA.zvr
ZLauncherConfigReva.zvr
ZLauncherRevA.Zsc
DefaultZscript.txt
- Start Z2 to test if ZLauncher and its contents loads…
The information in these files should point to and load all the familiar scripts you previous had linked in the ZLauncher in the same place at the bottom of the new Z2 interface.
AGAIN, BE SURE TO SAVE THE CURRENT DEFAULTZSCRIPT.TXT UNDER ANOTHER NAME (AS SUGGESTED ABOVE) SO THAT IF YOU HAVE A PROBLEM, YOU CAN RESTORE THE ORIGINAL CONFIGURATION.
I’m also including the zipped version of Pixolator’s ZLauncher (a fantastically useful script) here for anyone who might want to try it. Once installed, just click on the Zlaunch icon for instructions on how to add any ZScripts you might download from the Pixologic website.
ZLauncherRevA.zip

PS. One more tip… if you want to be able to load all the OLD tutorials from 1.55b you can create a link through ZLauncher. The script that connects to all the old tutorials is called, amazingly enough:
Launch_tutorials.zsc
which can be found in the old Zscripts directory. There is no associated icon. Instead, the old grayed ZBrush artist’s palette icon will be added to your Zlauncher.
