Deadpool

Hello all,

I am currently working on a model of Marvel character Deadpool. I am mainly using this as a learning experience as this is my first proper attempt to create a model using ZBrush. This is still work in progress as the weapons and belts still need to be added, as well as texturing before it is compete.

If anyone has any pointers which would lead me to improving this model and all future models please feel free to share.

Thanks

first this is a great looking model. But i think the hands should be alittle bigger, maybe you have not gotten to them yet in that case just forget about what i said and have fun working on your model it looks great.

Whats with the legs? Calves are messed up, and the knees are too big. As for the upper body. Triceps should be more up, and the biceps feels a bit too big for me and whats the line under the clavicle, it should’nt be there at all. And perhaps neck should be narrower. But i like the stomach. Just fix these and its a great model.

way too lumpy. id go back and tone down some of the muscles while trying to get the physique more accurate

I agree with Mihkelangelo and rkrehe20. Theres places where theres muscle and there should be bone, like the lower rib cage and the clavicle.

I think going through some anatomy pictures will help because theres alot of made up muscles. As far as the actual zbrush… it looks like you know what your doing with zbrush.

it looks neat but man, you gotta fix those baby hands. You have all this detail and then you have these tiny tiny forearms and hands.

Thanks for the comments. I agree that the hands didn’t look quite right so I have changed the size of them. I have also added the start of the accessories and am currently modelling the weapons. I have added a picture of the updated model.

Considering this is the second model I have worked on properly and the first one to this scale I am quite pleased with how it is shaping up. At least it isn’t a disaster.

Hi Rodan4,

Your work is very nice  I like it a lot. Your detailes rocks too
However, I’m wondering if you could post some pictures of the level you started with for your model and how did you reach the last result.

The shader you used also is amazing! which one did you use?

Keep up the great work

Looks like some of the anatomy is off. Especially the triceps and calves. Nice start though.

The mid-torso looks pretty good but I think your limbs need a little bit more love, the ankles are too fat but the hands are about the right size although need more structure to them, they kinda look like taffy.

I have done a quick colour test on my Deadpool model as well as completed dome of the accessories. Still need to model a sword and grenade as well as finish the boots.

Thanks to everyone who has given me advice on parts of the model which they feel are incorrect. Please feel free to continue.

Thanks
