Hello all :wink: this my first post here and I’d love to show you some wip of Dante and Virgil in hell, a concept from the big artist william Adolphe Bouguereau.

I’ve use different software, to better see the different in the same time at same project, I’m sculpting Dante with Zbrush and Virgil with Mudbox, of course a lot of work was done by zbrush since it has transpose and subtool…well I dont know if it’s allowed to post some work of mudbox here :rolleyes: …but I dont risk :smiley: , if you wanna see the work of mudbox here’s the link

Great work!! I look forward to completion if that is what you intend to do.

You may be interested to know that actually Dante and Virgil are the two figures watching in the background (Dante in red). The two figures in the foreground have been condemned for the “sin of wrath” to fight through all eternity. The scene comes from Dante’s Divine Comedy, Inferno, Canto VII.
