Danger Girl Tribute

Hi everybody
While I´m working in more realistic projects I want to post this image. It´s a small tribute to that girl called Abbey chase. It´s modeled in Zbrush and rendered with Mental ray in 3d max

hey i like you approach making hair combining the hairSystem and painting techniques(if im not mistaken).want you to know it inspired me !
:Dsmall tutorial about painting the hair would be appreciate:D.
i can understand it very well if you cannot share that.

Very nice work! Cool style :+1:

What do you mean? did you use zspheres, or did you take an existing model and re-sculpted the features to look like the model you have presented? Could you clarify for me?

Awesome work by the way.

oh yeah!! pretty nice buddy!! I love the final shot and also the modelling :+1:

cheers!! keep it up!

I am currently working on a Danger Girl Project myself. Yours came out looking really great! I love it. My version is more cartoony and yours looks a little more realistic in the face so I will keep going with it. Still working out the kinks in the Maya basemesh but it is almost ready for Zbrush details. Few questions

Question 1. Did you use the J S Campbell sketchbook ISO views as a guide for building the body or did you just “eyeball” it from the normal comic books?

Question 2. Did you paint the hair in Zbrush Paintstop or did you do it somewhere else like photoshop?

Awesome job!:+1:

wow, that’s cool. really nice work. I love the intensity of her eyes.

Thanks for your comments
The model it´s made in Zspheres and after that I made a retopology. I prefer this way, I think it´s better that made a basemesh in max or maya. Anyway you can use a mesh to sculpt a character. I´ve used the J S Campbell sketchbook ISO views as a guide at the beginning. About the hair, It´s a mix between hair and fur and photoshop as you realized.
In my opinion the model It´s not finished yet I want to put more details in trousers and belt If I have time.
