CYCLOPS

My second modeling… I was happy to be able to do something relatively complex. It was a challenge to make all the details from an illustration I made last year.
I chose this Cyclops because it is an art that I really like and I realized that it would be a reasonable challenge.
Bringing Jim lee’s '90s style and my style into something in 3D was really fun.
Render would need some more time to render but my PC couldn’t handle it and it got only an acceptable quality…in the next ones I’ll try to do better.

What do you think 90s Cyclops keeps in all those pouches? I’m going to guess lots and lots of lens wipes

Nice looking pose and detailing on the costume :+1:

Hahaha…I think they are just decorations to beautify the uniform.
Maybe a house key and a few dollars in case you need it.
Eye color too…I think that would be helpful as well.
But thanks for the compliments.

Nicely done!!! @Mardem how was your transition from 2D to 3D?

Thank you Jaime.
I was turned off by 2D…I guess I wasn’t excited anymore.
I had used zbrush years ago but gave up.
I went back to school 3 months ago and honestly I was amazed at how good technique in 2D and fundamentals of anatomy helped me in 3D.
I really got excited… too bad I had little time to practice. :frowning:

It’s never too late  Your 3D skills combined with anatomy studies are paying off :star_struck: it’s interesting seeing skilled 2D artists picking up 3D sculpting and being so good at it :muscle: Keep rocking!

Thank you so much for your support Jaime.
It is a great motivation to know that my model has somehow pleased other people.
Soon more sculptures if so God allows.
