Cut Dynamesh into parts

Sorry a newbie question:
Can I cut a Dynamesh into two parts and get two subtools from it
and how would this best be done?

Thank you for some help…

"When combined with DynaMesh and its Group option, the Slice brush lets you literally split your mesh in two pieces along the curve. Upon remesh, ZBrush will create two objects with separate PolyGroups. However, even though new pieces are created they are still part of the same Tool or SubTool. If you need to split them into separate SubTools, simply use the Group Split function found in the Tool > SubTool menu. "

Use the SliceCurve brush to put a cut into your mesh. Then use the Groups Split button on the SubTool panel to split the object into subtool layers.

Thank you both for your great help.

I also found out, that the group button has to be active while remeshing in Dynamesh to get separated groups from the slice tool.

Made a great step yesterday in learning some more ropes of Z-sculpting.
Thanks again.

Hi,

is it only on my system or can anyone confirm this in ZB6:

When using the slice-curve-brush to cut a part of the mesh, then using Dynamesh with group-option to split the mesh in two parts, it is not possible for me to use the Move-function to drag the separated parts away from each other to delete one part like it is shown in Pixolators sample movie.
Although the mesh is separated in 2 groups, they are still glued together and move as one piece.

Any thoughts how to solve this ?

Solved: In Move-mode, I need to hold CTRL and click on the separted part to have all other parts masked, then I can drag the desired part away to erase it.
