Custom UI glitch

This is killing me…

I have what I’d consider a pretty basic custom UI.

I’ve saved it to a file, AND used “Store config”, AND saved a StartupDocument (I’ve also saved my Icolors to a file):

However, no matter what I do, Zbrush rearranges my palettes:

If I:
Startup Zbrush (presumably with StartupDocument.ZBR)… palettes are swapped.
Load saved UI from prefs menu… palettes are swapped.
Restore custom UI from prefs menu… same thing.
Open my separately saved “Default” .ZPR file… palettes are swapped.
Cycle to my saved UI via the “Load next User Interface Layout” button… same thing.

I just did a clean install of 4R5, and reconfigured everything from scratch, and ZBrush STILL rearranges my palettes.
Mac OSX 10.6.8, 12 core Power Mac, 8GB RAM

To add to the frustration, I can NOT simply drag the palettes to my preferred order. If I try to move them, they simply disappear from the trays when I let go of the move widget.

Any ideas?

Now I have the smae problem. My 2 custom menus are not loading to Zbrush (restor custom UI or Load UI). It is loads my own interface, but 2 menues are broken ?! What I shall to do >>> ?

Unfortunately, 4r7 did not fix this. Mac 4r7-64

Storing config/CustomUI/Startup Documents still flips the palette orders, can’t drag to re-arrange palettes.

Now I have to re-figure out how I worked around this in 4r5 and 4r6.

And the Lightbox “Open at Launch” bug is still in 4r7. (I can’t disable Open at Launch without using a startup script)

I’m really excited about 4r7, and can’t wait to dig into it - so far everything (except my UI config issues) seems to be working fine for me.

Saving a .zbr doesn’t do too much. Looks naked and thus has less value than with functions exposed. You’re welcome to the files I’ve uploaded
