Custom Layers Palette Scroll List doesn't Work?

Using drag’N dropping I’m trying to create a Custom Layers Palette.

Most of the UI works however the scrolling “layer list” never updates correctly.

Am I doing something wrong?

Answered: creating custom Layers palette problem

Hi, I am trying to re-create the 3d Layers palette for docking in a custom menu. Works properly as I am creating the custom menu, but when I start zbrush again. The layer subpalette I made only shows one layer in ALL 8 slots. Picture below. I deal with alot of layers so I want to keep it open. any help thanks. Attachments [bug.jpg]

I got the sysadmin to update Zbrush in the studio to latest 2024.0.4 and still no luck with the layers scroll list to update.

Theres gotta be a way to have a docked layers palette!??

Using drag’N dropping I’m trying to create a Custom Layers Palette.

You’re not doing anything wrong. This is not possible in the program. Subpalattes with dynamic list UI like the Subtool palette or the Layers palette cannot be relocated to a custom palette and still function correctly. Only UI buttons can be placed in those.

Uhgg… That’s rough since so much is packed into the tool palette.

It would be really useful to be able to pull it out of there!
