Curious How Many Would Purchase ZBrush $50 a month.

$500 is a very reasonable price for ZBrush 2 with all its ease and power. There is no doubting that. Still that is a lot of money to students and hobbiest check-books. Or just plain poor folks like myself living off a disability pension.

I am curious how many people would be interested in purchasing this software or CG software in general if they could buy it with monthly expiring registration keys $50 bucks a month. Each month you get a new registration key unlocking it until it is finnaly paid off. It seems to me to be a good way to spread the awarenes, use and ownership of ZBrush 2.0.

That would be cool, I’m just a kid so i know my parents wouldn’t let me spend 500 bucks on a program, I just use the demo.

Software renting schemes are unfair to users because in the end they end up paying more than buying it otherwise.

Bill I’m not talking about renting I am talking about simply paying the same amount maybe say $30 bucks more total. Immediate access while you pay it off.
Keep up on your monthly $50 payment and they keep sending you unlocking codes. Eleven payments and you are home free.

Why not have a say 10 month payment plan, where u contractually agree to pay a fixed amount per month until its paid off(with interest etc i expect)but receive zbrush when u pay the first installment.

the payment plan is a good idea, software like this is hard for me to pay off cause damn freelancing… luckily my birthdays coming up soon :wink:
