crisp alpha but jagged lines?

Hey guys, been following Joseph Drust’s helmet design on Zclassroom and so far so good! Been having fun taking my own directions on this helmet. However recently I wanted to make an alpha using grabdoc to create some of the small rectangular indentations in the helmet. I made a quick mesh in 3ds max that had a nice indent in it, brought it into zbrush and did the standard operation for making a grabdoc alpha, but I keep getting really nasty edges once my alphas in my model. I even tried remaking the alpha but dynameshing the object from 3dsmax up to 3mil to ensure everything was really hi-rez and clean. The specific portion of the model I’ve been working on is around 2.5mil, but it still seems to have a rough time with it. Head on the lines look okay, but looking closer you can tell it’s really messed up. I’ve even tried adding a small amount of blur (3) onto the alpha as well, helped a little but still problematic. Any ideas?
