Crimson Ronin (after Pierrick Picaut)

I’m super happy to share my first game ready 3D character, for this I followed the course “Crimson Ronin 3D PBR Character Creation for Games” by Pierrick Picaut.
It took me several months to complete because I couldn’t dedicate a full time schedule, just a couple hours each week. I know it’s not perfect and it has lot of room for improvement, nevertheless I’m super proud of this orange bad boy.

The final polycount is about 10,500 triangles. (including accesories) so I suppose this could be considered a low poly character. The most challenging stages were retopology and UV unfolding, the most enjoyable was the sculpting phase.

The materials are mostly PBR with a little touch of hand painted maps.
I decided to give myself some aesthetic freedom so I changed some things, as you can see the final character is not identical to the one modeled by Pierrick.
