Hello!
I would like to attempt at making a sword. One method I saw was to mask and extract your shape from a plane 3D or Cube 3D. I want to make that crease in the center of the sword ( as if it is beveled in the center ) but when I use the crease tool, it appears to do nothing at all. When I select my polygroup icon the crease shows up when the polygroups are highlighted, but does not appear on the actual mesh. I’ve made sure it was a polymesh before I added anything to it.
I have also tried several options to get this to work such as Dynamesh and ZRemesher to get a decent topology flow. I have tried the Edge Loop option also. I know zmodeler has a crease and bevel option too. I have also tried those tools as well. It still does not appear to do anything with my mesh. Am I missing a step so that I can get a crease to show on the mesh? Or is there a completely different way to create a sword? The sword I want to create will have many bevel areas on the blade.
