I am modeling a head in Zbrush and it got these artefacts in the corners of the mouth. And when I try to make maps like ao they get messed up.


Is there a way to fix this? I rather not dynamesh or ZRemesh.

Looks to me like the topology is pinched. Try the Smooth-Alt brush (BSA) to relax the topology around the pinch. Volumes will be maintained. The regular smooth brush will deform the volume. You may need to lower subdiv by one or even two, apply Smooth Alt, then increase subdiv and apply Smooth Alt, repeating until you get back to your highest subdiv.
It that doesn’t work then it may be a different problem.
