copy subtool material to another subtool

hi everyone
I vertex paint one of my subtools and assign a custom shader to it am going to do so for another subtool and like to copy shader from previous one, how i can do so?

If you have a custom material active in your material list, you apply it just like any other material. The changes you made to the material slot are persistent, and should save along with a .zpr file if you are using File> Save As. Simply select the new subtool, and fill or paint it with the selected custom material.

You can also save custom materials in the Material menu, for loading into a file in the future.

Thanks for your answer and it was practical and use full,

in a situation that i open a .ZTL file and I want to copy one of subtools material to another one how i can catch the material?
some time it happens that i begin to paint a model and set some of shadar and keep others basic to be able to see paint correctly, if it takes time and I save it and reload it later I like to use those shaders that I set for other basics that I just finished paint,
but I don’t know how catch correct shader and fill other subtool with it,

I like to know Like “C” for Color Picker is any method for Material pick,

ZTools (.ztl files saved via the Tool >Save as command), only save the active tool and any subtools.

In order to save more extensive scene information, like custom materials and multiple tools, save the file as a Zproject file (.zpr saved via the File> Save As command)

If you load a .ztl file into an existing file without the custom material loaded that was originally applied to it, it will only have one of the default material slots applied instead.

However, you can save a material (.mat) file out at any time in the Material Menu via the Material > Save command. This material file can then be loaded into any other file, where it will overwrite the material slot selected at the time.
