If I remember the specs correctly it doesn’t have the same resolution/sensitiviy that the regualar Intuos 2 tablet has.
256 levels of pressure sensitivity compared to 1,024 levels for the Intuos2. Of course, your “Painting” right on the screen. That has to be cool! 
Well I would try these LCD tablets before buying one. I see some potential problems:
:b2: Paralax, the glass has to be thick enough to protect the LCD and because of that you might get paralax error if your not exactly in front of the screen.
:b2: Scratches. This has to be a big problem, while drawing and painting you’re going to make a lot of scratches on the surface
:b2: It’s heavy and has a lot of cables, it should be very cumbersome to put that tablet-lcd on your knees
:b2: max resolution is only 1280x1024 for the big one and 1024x768 for the small one.
(At least I hope they have compensated for the 1.25 ratio of the 1280x1024 resolution instead of 1.33 like other standard resolutions and screens)
With time the prices will drop and these problems might be resolved. So I’d be careful before investing a lot of money in one of these.
