I posted this a few hours ago but it didn’t show up so I will try again and hope it doesn’t show up twice
I am following a tutorial by Jason Welsh, lesson 11 part 2, and seeing I got it from the internet, the program “Convertfile.bat” didn’t come with it so I googled ,and downloaded it, but when I try to convert the tif. files that I made in zbrush, folowing the tutorial, by draging them to the convertfile icon all that happens is a brief flash of black and then nothing else. Is there something different, such as settings somewhere, in the program I downloaded compared with the one Jason supplied with the original tutorial or am I just not doing something right.

what i did was take the tif from zbrush first and open it in photoshop then save it as a tiff and then put that through the converter hope this helps

After searching the net looking for answers I found out that you have to copy and paste the imf_copy from Maya’s bin into the Window system32 folder. And now when I drag and drop it works perfectly.
That solved the problem for me. Hope this helps others with the same problem.
