Controlling Color Eye-Lash Color

Hello! I recently purchased a Zbrush asset for eye lashes, and it works perfectly, but I have no idea how to control color the way is shown in this video:

I’m very open to all and any ideas for solutions. Right now everything on my screen is just a gray sculpt.

Thank you for your time!

I guess it can be colored like a normal separate polygroup.

Hello @RoyalSkies

I don’t know anything about the lashes in this asset. Is it an actual piece of geometry, or are they a texture applied to another piece of geometry?

If it is a texture then you would need to edit or adjust the color of the texture. If it is geometry, then you would control the color the way you would with any other mesh in ZBrush, namely:

  1. Adjust the active color. If the mesh has no polypaint or applied texture, it will display the active color and material.

  2. Apply Polypaint.

  3. Apply a color texture.

If you are unfamiliar with these concepts in ZBrush, then the correct place to start is probably here.

Thank you! The polypaint material answer was the solution I needed!!
Hope you have a Fantastic Day!
