Hello, I’m new to this forum and really need some “current” opinions. I’m a student doing 3D in ZBrush, 3DS Max and CS5 with Premiere Pro. My PC keeps crashing (this last time in the middle of mid-terms).
So, I’m seriously considering a Mac Pro, mostly for stability and hopefully to future-proof my investment. It is hard to find current reviews from people who do 3D work.
Can anyone here advise me on what type of computer I should get, and if there are any supporters of Mac’s is the baseline 8 core much better than the baseline 4 core?
Lastly, I know these are super pricey but getting a PC built with the right specs or getting another off the shelf PC is more intimidating and unpleasant now that I’m on my 3rd one in the last 8 years.
