good work:+1:

thank u very much…

Looks great to me. Care to share your sculpting and painting workflow?

thank u Gordon…i m still the begineer.i think there are still more faults in that…i did it in a very simple way…
1.took the cube and brought it into the shape of pillar
2.used claytubes for damage
3.used surface noise for some some noisy surface
4.then i textured it using zbrush painting and photoshop(via zaap link feature)
5.that’s it…

You’re greatly simplifying your skills there. The basic shape and damage is simple. What sells ths s the fine damage, the cracks, thevwaybthe noise is around the cracks. And also the painting. Is it by hand or using some photo refs? A mov of you making one would be excellent.

for noise i just played around with the surface nosie…and with claytubes brush
for color i manipulated some textures in photoshop and textured to the modelled using zaaplink
i even used zbrush texturing(polypaint) to create some color for depth which cannot be done in photoshop so easily…
and then used daniel brush and some alphas for crack…

Cheers.

What’s the ‘daniel brush’?

it’s a modified standard brush with an alpha…u can find that brush in lightbox under brush tab…

I’ll take a look later. You don’t mean dam_standard do you?

ya i meant dam_standard…sorry for the confusion…
