'Concept Creature Head'

Hello everyone,
I always wanted to try something with the Dinosaur and fantasy characteristics and this is what I came up with.
I have enjoyed a lot of working on this interesting and small project.
While working on this asset I have learned a lot many things about work optimization in Mari and Z brush as compare to the previous project (The Cretaceous King).
70% of asset Albedo achieved by using 15 types of masking maps in Mari.
The Uv’s for this asset are spread out in 36 UDIM’s holding a resolution each 4k .
For Mari projection I have used Surface mimic ,texturing XYZ’s 3D scan Displacements and later on fine-tuned in Z-brush.
Also for the hires and seamless Displacement I have chopped the head geometry into the multiple sub tools with the overlapping faces so that I can get the seamless hires Displacement from Z-brush.
This entire asset is rendered in Maya with Redshift3D .
