comon tools script is really cool

In fact, I think that great if is possible to set it so that you’re painting in texture master your model, and inside texture master you have a button which perform the following (one for each view(front, left, top, etc)): picks, make the change of view, and drops, so then are not getting outside tmaster, you ARE, but you don’t notice, as it get back its own to tmaster.

I have noticed an important improvement in modelling with this script. I still prefer to model outside, but just as a matter of preferences.

That for tmaster which I propose I think is a great improvement…

I think it will be nice, another feature to add, is that once you rotate (as that is what coomon tools script make when change view button is hit) you stayed in the edit mode you were: if you were draw-edit-mode, you keep there. If you were in move-edit-mode you keep there. Is for not hitting all the time ‘W’.But that is more related to Zbrush’s rotate tool , and not with the script…well, just an idea.

here some shots of my trying of this new script. An hour and a half or so. As usual, don’t pretend to continue it…an experiment…

Howdy drawingtroll

I agree KenB’s script would be a great addition to the texturemaster. To do this

  1. Copy the commontools.txt (or whatever filename you named it) into the texturemaster folder

  2. You can either copy and paste Ken’s script into the end of the Texturemaster script or type in the following to the texturemaster script

    (zscriptinsert,“commontools.txt”)

change the parenthesis to greater/less brackets the forum doesn’t like this line for some reason

you might have to place a newline or two to position it where you like

Hope that helps!

btw I appreciate the posts you have made here describing the nitty-gritty of 3D technology it is fasinating! and I have learned alot

Hello, Digits.

Thanks a lot for the tip, I’ll try it right now, and about my posts, I am happy that you liked them

Well…last year was a bit of a nightmare for me for having to learn lots of things very quickly…in fact I don’t think I learnt the best methods…Everytime I fixed something, it was fixed, no more thinking about it…that crazy pressure is bad.But is the way it works.

That’s why I say to cindy that she must continue investigating as there are thousands of ways…surely better…mines are discovered too under pressure.

Let’s paste that zscript line now…
