Hi all,

I have had this scan done of my first goblin sculpture and am thinking of paying someone to create an image from it. I want it to look like a photo that was taken of the goblin as he was running through the garden in the early morning spreading his snails.

I do have a budget for the project. If you’re interested please let me know with a link to your favourite rendered images.

You said you do have a budget for the job… why not just use less than that budget and buy Modo? It is so super-simple, and then you can render it yourself in photo-real ways that will blow your mind. And you can do it over and over.

I did think about learning to do it myself but I am primarily a sculptor and I want to continue to use my time creating new sculptures. It would probably take me a long time to learn to do the colouring and rendering as well as some of you guys do it.

Thank you for your reply Rawsunlight. I love your work. I guess what I’ll do is set a closing date for applications; in a month or so, then I’ll choose my favourite.

The budget I have for the first image is 500 GBP. If all goes well, there will be several more to do.

Nice sculpts man,iam poor at rendering but i know compositing the models. hope i can make a nice image for you especially i love that sculpt.you can see my portfolio,all was done by compositing from zbrush and phtoshop,thanks

Hi Goode, no problem, completely understand.

When you’re ready, if you’re unsure and really want to push the photorealism, I’m happy to do some tests to show sss, displacement and normal mapping, specular maps, lighting rigs, whatever…

Thanks to everyone who showed interest in this job. All very talented artists and a real headache for me to decide who to choose.

I’ve hedged my bets and chosen 2 artists to have a go at the image. I’ll decide which image to use when they’re both completed.
