Yes it has been an interesting journey in working with the zBrush dvd initiative.
We have lost some of our talent and gained others.
the new DVD formats were changed and caused a delay in our zBrush product line… which was scheduled for this years siggraph.
The good ness is the following:
the new DVD’s will have interviews from zBrush artists around the world…
they will also be dual format so you can watch them on a standard set top DVD player AND the will also have A DVD ROM PARTITION which will allow you to watch them on a computer in 720p high definition. This has never been done before on a training DVD, and cmiStudios and vizualFX have made a strong push toward kicking the arse out of anything else out there for the next few years to come.
more things like… 3d motion menus, excerpts, predictive menu selection, and subtitles for multi language abilities are just a few things that ARE coming in the next months to come.
We are pretty sure there has never been a commitment to deliver such a wide variety of lat breaking technoliges in the traing field ever before.
We are still inteviewing zBrush artists for the second parts of our interviews… so keep those emails pouring in.
We are vey excited to see the massive numbers of users of this product knocking down our door for high end training!
