cloth (2 sided mesh) issue

Hello,

I really need help with zbrush, when creating cloth from character by panel loops or by double the mesh. Every time I am doing this and than I am sculpting like wrinkles on cloth, two sided mesh started to touching itself and than I have issue with holes in mesh after dynamesh. Hope you understand what I mean. Is there way to fix that or prevent? I tried sculpt with backface on but sometimes i forget to turn it on when switching brushes.

Thanks a lot for any help / suggestion.

You can’t DynaMesh thin meshes. You need bulk for DynaMesh to work properly. I don’t understand why you are DynaMeshing that anyway.

I want to dynamesh it because of mesh stretch when moving some polys and also because I want to join two meshes together, so I really dont know how to do it :(. Thanks anyway

You will be to add thickness fo Dynamesh to work. Just mask the hole thing and use Extract to get a new SubTool with bit of thickness. It probably would have been a good idea to get all your dynameshing done before adding fine details.

thanks dillster. I will try.
I heard that doing like boots or cloth is better with panel loops or duplicate base mesh, cut things you dont want and than make it double sided. But now it is a pain in the…

Thanks
