Hi…I am new at ZBrush…but I am use to Micrsoft’s “Windows” format…you know.when you open file you get to choose from “New-Open-Close-save-save as”
I don’t see those options in ZBrush…after I have imported an object into ZBrush…work on it…and want to…save as and close…so I can open another file…there is no …“CLOSE” choice window to choose. The only way I have been able to close a file and open a new file is to close down the ZBrush software …then I get the “Save Change-no-cancel” window …then reopen the ZBrush software to work on a new project…This can’t be the way it was desgned…Help…what am I doing wrong…Close and Open Problem.txt

Hi Bouguereau,
in this version of ZBrush (both demo and commercial) there is no new document button. But I think V.1.23 due out very soon will have it. The Documents Palette contains the Open and Save documents. You can also export a 2D pic. (It is not neccasery to clost the document before you open a new one. When you need to open and save ZTLs use the Inventory sub-palette in the Tools Palette.
I hope some of this makes some sense–Call out for more if needed.
Hi Bouguereau, and Welcome to ZBrush Central!
As Mulvo said, version 1.23 does have a ‘new document’ button.
Hopefully the information in Upham’s link will be useful to you until you have version 1.23.

When will version 1.23 become available.
