Cintiq Issue Caused By Zbrush

Hey guys, hopefully someone here knows how to solve this problem:

I have a cintiq 22hd (fairly new), and it works great…until I open Zbrush. With Zbrush open, the cursor seems to follow my stylus just fine, even changing cursors when hovering over sliders as normal, but tapping on anything within Zbrush doesn’t do anything (except the alpha and texture squares on the left, for some reason. this are clickable). Instead, a ghost duplicate of my cursor flickers at the very bottom of the screen with each attempt at tapping. This even prevents me from clicking on any applications in my dock at the bottom of my screen (I’m on a mac). If I switch to my mouse, none of the problems persist; it’s only with my stylus. And once again, other programs don’t cause this. Photoshop works fine.

Any idea on how to solve it? I’ve already deleted and reinstalled my tablet drivers, and that didnt solve anything.

I’m not sure if this will help you but I’m new to Zbrush and the first thing I noticed when I tried to use my tablet (but my mouse is still plugged into the PC)… Zbrush doesn’t seem to know which input device to load. In other words, I think my tablet was not working at all but the mouse was, even though I had tablet enabled within Zbrush).

So my advice, try to make sure you don’t have a mouse plugged into PC and just your tablet is plugged in?

Just my idea.

did you find any solution?
I have a new cintiq pro 13 connected to a iMac, when I have the zbrush window open in the imac, i can work with the stylus without a problem, but if i move the zbrush window to the cintiq monitor (the main reason to have a cintiq I think) the ‘click’ it is not recognized, i can hover the cursor with the stylus, and get all the info you get when you hover on any menu. I can even use the “right click” but once i try to use the pen it does not recognize the stylus. I try and map the “click” in any of the buttons on the stylus but they are unresponsive once i tried to click with them in the cintiq.
Like you I already tried uninstalliing and reinstalling the drivers, zbrush, i tried all usb ports, and nothing.
Wacom stop answering me, and zbrush support said is wacoms problem not theirs.

and like you, is only in zbrush that i have this issue.

Cintiq 27 pen/touch… no luck so far… re=installed zbrush and both Wacom and Nvidia drivers…
still no good.
