That will fail on many levels. It’s inefficient, massive drag, synchronizing a camera with the rotation will be a nightmare, and for all the ultimate reason it will not work: The human eye is trained to register fast movement. That swirly thing would be as visible as a red 100ft target circle in the sky. Not to mention the amount of noise it will make because of the twin engines and the drag. Nothing better than a light blue painted model airplane with electro engine. Quiet and invisble. I build one myself. And I painted my little ‘fighter’ according to the original. Light blue on the underside. After it being 100 ft high I lost it. Never found it… Since then I like red model airplanes…

Instead of charging the military hundreds of thousands of dollars per drone… They can build a ‘throw away drone’ for less than a thousand bucks. Every soldier could get one 8). Add a target painting laser, a Warthog, Helo, or that flying fortress and wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

That music with the animatronic bear in the plane sounded almost like porn or elevator music. Take your pick. 
That is a scary thought. Considering that the guy could simply do that right now…
