Character Wip

Hi guys, hows going.

This is a character im planning to do and then animate.

I need to fix that ear, and do the retopology.

How ever, i dont know much about 3d, the only way i could animate the head was with the maya plug in “the face machine” but the render is on cinema4d, and i cant find a way to export the maya (facemachine) animation to cinema to render, anyone could give me some tips?

I also tried to make normal maps on zbrush, (normal maps are for example to add detail to a low poly right? because i dont get it), the thing is, that i got the model on zbrush and is very big, i know that if i want to get low i have to retopo first, im doing that, and once i got the model retopologized and the uvs, how can i add the detail to the low poly model?

Sorry i have a bunch of information on my head and i dont know if im right, and sorry for my english im argentinian.

Nice work mate! It looks really good and I’m sure after you’ve finished the ear and retopoed it (something I don’t even know how to do just yet) then it’ll look even better. Looking forward to seeing the animation :smiley:
