Character Modeling for Toy Prototype

We are a small toy start up company formed by a few long time friends who shared a common passion for all things 80s, and who grew tired of the corporate industry altogether.

We are working on a new toy concept and we expect to launch this before close of 2009. We have reached the point where we are looking for a 3d modeller for our prototype.

This will be a paying job but be reasonable! we are funding this out of our pooled savings.

Please drop an email to [email protected] if interested.

cheers

What kind of toy are you looking to put out? 80’s horror film stuff by any chance? Are you looking to get into some form rapid prototyping for it?

I actually went to school for industrial design, and from what I learned, the whole process of bringing a product to market can be a fairly lengthy one depending on the complexity of it. If you are hoping to have something brought to the market by the end of '09, you had better get moving. Hehe.

PM me if you dont want to share too many details here.

I’ve just started a toy factory in china, if you need someone to help you out,
I can make stuff for you fast and cheap. I also RP some decent stuff.

Can probably RP, paint, mass produce and ship a product for you in a 2-3 months if it needs to be rushed. Don’t even charge a premium. I possibly charge 1/3rd of what you would pay to source this yourself? Anyway, just happy to help out. Starting the toy factory for my own ideas… just subletting work while I build out capacity.
